Colour and cocktails - an evening of fashion and feasting
Colour and cocktails were the two definite themes of the Fashion Feast Night. Not inexperienced in organising events, this was our very first fashion show.
It all came about by finding the absolute perfect space at The Bedruthan Hotel. Their downstairs restaurant, the Herring, is long and thin, and naturally, anyone wants to strut right through it.
We were delighted to sell all tickets and had a lovely, not to mention stylish, crowd, who got to don their heels and smart wear - which doesn't happen too often here in Cornwall.
The evening started with a champagne welcome, followed by a catwalk, made up of five themes -Everyday essentials, Beach Daze, Sex and the City, Boho Wedding and Festival - where our new collections were shown by the four familiar faces - the models on the Roo's Beach website.
Emma, Jess, Rosie and Lowenna did amazingly and we definitely heard a few collective gasps when some outfits came out (sequins seem to have that effect on our ladies).
After the show, the Bedruthan team was on hand for Hair feathers and hand massages, which went down a treat. Make-up artist Jo, from Paul & Joe Beauty, did some makeup demonstrations. Ian, the resident mixologist at Bedruthan, made some incredible cocktails.
The Spring Summer 2016 collection is now in store and online next week.
