Becky's Top Picks Autumn 17
To conclude our team styling series, this week, Becky our shop manager shared with us her top picks rom the Autumn 17 collection. Over to you Becky...
Winter for me is always a struggle with colours, as my skin tone changes, I find it a lot harder to pick the colours that I would usually be drawn to for summer.
I can always rely on American Vintage for some cosy knits for my winter wardrobe - the Nitiway Jumper – in a classic stripe with the warm copper tones is so soft and comfortable to wear.
As well as the Woxilen Jumper in a Meringe colour which is one of the top picks for the Pantone Palette for Autumn.
Both of these jumpers I would team with a pair of Levis – I love the classic high waisted jeans and when The Mile High Jeans came in to store I had to have a pair. I always try to mix a 60/70's vibe be it with colour or cut to my outfits.
With so much stretch and a great colour of charcoal I find they match most colours of tops and I could also carry them through to the next season.
Ottod'ame is a new brand for us this season and I find there twist on vintage styles and materials mixed with a modern fit is really fitting with the style I like.
The Ottod'ame checked shirt has a 70's feels with the illusion of texture and warm copper tones as well as the pussybow detail teamed with the American Vintage Lilaford coat which is a great relaxed peacoat style - very versatile for a day to night outfit.
