Oh, what a night! Fashion, fun, bubbles and more collided in our first ever Festive Fling charity fundraiser. A big thanks to all those fabulous people who made the night such a roaring success! For those who couldn't manage to get a ticket to this sold out event, here's a glimpse of what you missed...

On Thursday 28th November, we hosted a 'Festive Fling Party' in the HoHouse in Newquay, in support of the St.Petroc's Society, who are working to put an end to street homelessness in Cornwall. The event was a sell out sensation, 70 tickets went within a few days of going live!

There was a pop up jewellery stall from Wanderlust Life, a fashion cat walk, bubbles, tacos and an angel card reader for those wanting to know what the new year will bring. St.Petroc’s provide the services and support to those people who find themselves homeless. This covers outreach, accommodation, resource centres, and health checks and recovery. We are thrilled to announce that we raised just over £1000, with more donations coming in everyday!

By attending our Festive Fling, customers made a real difference. Half of their ticket price went straight to St. Petrocs, money raised from the sale of raffle tickets to win goodies from our luxe raffle were also donated (companies such as Celtic & Co of Treloggan, The Jam Jar Cafe´ and local artist Ben Allen kindly contributed). Both angel card reader Natalie Maddrell and the guys at El Huichol Tacos kindly gave donations of every reading and taco sold to the charity too. We are extremely proud of everyone involved.

Over the weekend, Friday 29th Nov - Sunday 1st Dec, we also threw a Festive Fling Weekender in-store with exclusive jewellery pop ups, free gift wrapping, special purchasing deals, bubbles and a festive Sunday brunch in the Roo’s Beach Coffee Shop. We had a ‘Donation Station’ set up, receiving donations of warm bedding, clothing and footwear to help the homeless too.

Roo - "Thank you to everyone who attended our Festive Fling on Thursday 28th November. It was such a fabulous evening and SO many leopard loving ladies were out! We had to have a group shot as it totally confirmed what the fashion press is saying - that leopard print IS the new neutral!"

"It was such a success that we’re going to make it an annual event so make sure you put 26th November 2020 in your diary as it sold out quickly!"
