How to style a leopard print scarf
We’re just ever so slightly obsessed with Leopard print and all our prayers have been answered at once for AW18 as Leopard print is EVERYWHERE, it’s the main focus of every collection and we’re awash with it!
When we saw these beautiful scarves from Danish brand Black Colour we knew they’d be an instant hit and an Autumn wardrobe staple, they’re cosy, oversized, affordable and in three fabulous colours, the problem now is which one to buy and how to wear it?
We asked our very own style icon Bex to put her individual spin on them, we hope this helps?
Probably the easiest of all three to wear, this is the safest colour for the Leopard virgins, those of you who are just dipping your toes into the wonderful pool of Leopard - this is the one for you! It goes with everything, especially if you love navy, grey, black and white, this is your safe option, it’s tonally soft and not to in your face. Bex has put it with soft pink velour which really works, it feels feminine and adding softness to this print, she’s wearing it as a classic scarf, just thrown over her shoulder in a ’this old thing’ sort of manner - easy, anyone can wear this one!
This is your classic Leopard print tone, it’s the one we all know, it’s the one us Leopard lovers gravitate too, it’s a must, a need and to be frank it needs little else with it. Bex has it with all black which is perfect as it has such warm caramel tones, it doesn’t need any introductions it says it all and makes this outfit, keep it long to show off the print and make the scarf the outfit.
Finally this one is for all you Leopard lovers who, like me already have a wardrobe full of leopard print scarves - this is a perfect excuse to add just one more - a pink/red tonal one, hoorah! To be honest they’re all so good but this is for those of you who love colour, need a lift and want to make a statement. Bex has paired this one with a relaxed Burgundy velvet blazer, such a rich, textural combination which really works together, the scarf classically looped around her neck to keep her cosy. Wear this to make a statement, feel fantastic and put a smile on peoples faces.
