New In: Vans AW16
Not just for skaters - Californian sneaker brand Vans has, over the past 50 years, grown into one of the most culturally significant footwear labels in the world. Season after season, we become tempted by the new and revamped colours, prints and styles. Here are the Vans trainers we’re coveting this season:
Possibly the most iconic trainer in the world is the Vans Authentic. As one of their first styles to be introduced, they’ve truly stood the test of time with their effortlessly cool and universally liked design. For a shoe that will honestly never get old, try the Vans Authentic in black, they are super simple and understated, whether you want to wear them to work or school or for a casual off-duty look. We really like these particular ones because they have those little details like the gold stitched, signature brand tab and subtle cheetah-print eyelets that add a touch of Roo’s Beach-ness to an absolute classic!
To jazz up a usually boring outfit, we suggest you go with the Vans Authentic in the new Varsity Suede colours, exactly the same timeless design but in a beautiful, soft suede. I’m sure you all know we’re big fans of yellow here at Roo’s Beach, that’s why we’ve got this gorgeous pair in Amber Gold, that we might just never take off. But if yellow isn’t for you, we also have them in Red Mahogany which is a deep burgundy colour that’s perfect for Autumn!
Because we loved those colours so much, we couldn’t resist getting them in the Sk8-Hi Slim style as well. They’re just like a classic hi-top trainer, but in a slimmer and more feminine design, with their signature Vans wave on the side and extra padding in the ankle - sure to be your go-to shoe this season!
Finally, for a seriously trendy pair of shoes, we have the Vans Vintage Suede Sk8-Hi Moc Ivy Green Trainers - so cool! Lace up, high top shoes crafted in a soft, suede upper with a unique moccasin inspired fringing around the ankle, of course with their signature waffle rubber soles. These would seriously jazz up any outfit!
