Kernowfornia Dreaming This Autumn
After the lifting of lockdown, people seeked a much needed break away from their homes. Many, whom normally go abroad for their holidays, headed to the British coastline for escapism, with Cornwall becoming a top destination this summer. And as we move towards Autumn, the crowds have dwindled and Cornwall feels calmer. So if you're planning to visit us soon, here's our top must-do list of things to see and do by our little beach...
A Coastal Walk
Not far up the coast to us in Porth is Carnewas, one of the most popular destinations on the north Cornish coast for walks because of its spectacular cliff-top view of the Bedruthan Beach sea stacks stretching across the sand. The view of the entire bay stretching both ways is stunning! Its wide variety of wildlife, especially birds living there means you're guaranteed to spot something interesting on your walk. Some people have even spotted basking sharks and passing dolphins too.

Everybody's Gone Surfing...
Ever fancied a go at learning how to surf? Or just wanted to brush up on your technique? Well the guys at Escape Surf School can make it super fun for solo riders, couples or even the whole family wanting to ride the waves back into shore at Towan Beach in Newquay. Some time spent in the sea, paddling and riding the waves is a sure way to feel alive and certainly drums up a big appetite!
Pre-Dinner Cocktails
New to town this summer was Cove 24 - a bar and restaurant offering something a little different for Newquay with its opulent and eclectic style. Using locally sourced produce for its diverse lunch and dinner menus, Cove 24 also offers visitors a chance to enjoy a cocktail or two in their large bar lounge area. Hands up for a Stormy Hennessy!
A Sunset Dinner
One of the best spots for watching a Cornish sunset is Fistral Beach. So at the end of the day, why not enjoy being wined and dined whilst watching the sun dip at one of our favourite restaurants around - The Fish House? Gordon Ramsey was said to have been really impressed with the menu when he dined here for lunch, so give it a whirl yourself!
