the definitive Levi's fit guide

Here at Roo's Beach we prioritise relaxed, comfortable style and happy vibes over anything else, and this is completely reflected in the clothing we offer. Today we are focussing on our denim range which is carefully curated with universally likeable styles, but which pair should you go for? Let's focus on Levi's - one of the most sustainable denim brands out there and famous for bringing out a new fit every season.
Customers ask us all the time what size and shape they should choose when buying Levi's, and since we sell a few styles which all fit so differently, Roo's crew decided that a fit guide was long overdue. So here's the team, a gorgeous mix of shapes, heights and ages to help you choose the best jeans for you...
Style: Column | Fit: Straight | Waist: High rise
Roo - Founder (+ Leopard Print Lover)
Height: 5'8" | Wears Size 28"
These are my ultimate go-to jeans. They are an easy style that are so reliable, they'll never let me down. If you're ever having one of those 'I'm not sure what to wear' days, these go with everything! Believe me, you won't be disappointed. From the first day I tried them on, they literally felt like I'd owned them forever.
Style: High Loose | Fit: Slim through the hip and thigh Waist: Highest rise Levi's offers!
Molly - Coffee Connoisseur & Homeware Buyer (+ Après Ski Fan)
    Height: 5'8" | Wears Size 28"
Molly wears the Levi's High Loose Jeans
I struggle to find jeans that fit perfectly on the leg since I have such long pins, but these High Loose Jeans from Levi's are perfect! I also love the super high waists on them, so flattering and you'll find you can wear anything with them too. Bonus!
Style: Barrel | Fit: Wide cropped leg, relaxed through the hip and thigh | Waist: High rise
Bex - Store Manager & Senior Buyer (+ Totally Tattooed Babe)
      Height: 5'9" | Wears Size 28"
Now I have to be honest, I love to wear jeans in a larger size (I normally opt for a size 29") where you can pull up and paper bag with a belt to achieve a real relaxed, baggy look. These Barrels however, in a 28", look so good being slightly more fitted, but still achieve the low crutch look I like. Love their crop and wash too - perfect for spring!
Style: Ribcage | Fit: Straight and fitted through the hip and thigh | Waist: Ultra high rise
Ruby - Store Assistant (+ Smile Maker)
        Height: 5'3" | Wears Size 31"
My preferred style is a pair of jeans with a straight leg and a high waist, and these do not disappoint! I love them, especially because I don't need to go rolling up the legs as this shorter style is perfect for me.
Style: Ribcage | Fit: Straight and fitted through the hip and thigh |Waist: Ultra high rise
Millie - Digital Marketing Assistant (+ Ray Of Sunshine)
          Height: 5'4" | Wears Size 27"
I love the Ribcage style and feel, especially in this mid-washed blue, the weight is so nice to wear. The length is perfect for high trainers like Converse or Vans, or in this case - Dr Martens boots. The shape of the high waist tailors perfectly against the body, coming in at just the right point, allowing you to breathe and feel extremely comfortable.
Style: 501 | Fit: Cropped leg and fitted through the hip and thigh | Waist: High rise
Emma - Head Of Digital (+ Mermaid Wannabe)
          Height: 5'6" | Wears Size 27"
Emma wears the Levi's 501 Crop Jeans
I'm sure my first ever Levi's back in the 80's were the classic 501's, so I'm feeling very nostalgic wearing these. I own a few ribcage and balloon leg styles from Levi's in a size 28", as I love a baggy denim look, but I've gone for a smaller size in these as they're a more straighter/fitted style and look so much nicer on the bottom and legs for it!
We styled our Levi's with a Free People You Rock Tee in either black or grey, and wore our own footwear.
