As a small independent shop, we were worried that lockdown would have catastrophic effects, but we quickly adapted and put all our efforts into pushing the online side of the business. We are thrilled to say that we are doing fabulously well thanks to the drive from our social channels and newsletters!

The main spark of interest has come from the new styling videos and photos Roo herself starting posting on instagram (https://www.instagram.com/p/B_pkJBSnB_V/) showcasing products and giving her own personal opinions on how to style them. The emails have been flooding in and the phone hasn’t stopped ringing.

By bringing the in-shop experience to people in the comfort of their own homes, not only have Roo’s videos and photos generated tonnes of interest, its been the astounding amount of positive comments we have received that is pushing her on to keep making them. Customers are loving being able to discuss styling, sizing and in some cases just needing a general catch up with Roo who is on hand daily to try things on, advise and continue forging relationships with people, which is what Roo’s Beach prides itself on.

Roo - "I have found myself back at the forefront of the business which is where I should be instead of being stuck in the office. I’ve loved re-connecting with our customer base and really finding out what they want and what we can offer them to help make them feel good about themselves in these uncertain, often scary times

Roo’s styling videos are informal, relaxed, fun and colourful - the very essence of the brand itself. Our motto is “Happy Clothes” and going from the public’s response, I’d say we are definitely doing something right! We’d be thrilled to have some of our products or even business featured in your pages, so please just give us a shout if you need any info.
