The Small Yet Mighty Boutique On The Beach
Guided by their mantra ‘happy clothes’, Roo’s Beach is an award-winning independent fashion and lifestyle destination store positioned opposite Porth Beach, between Watergate Bay and Newquay on the North Cornwall coast.
Leading the way is founder Roo Cross, who, with her fabulous team, are curating constantly evolving seasonal collections of signature laid-back, colour-filled and effortless styles from their favourite brands. Because of this concept, Roo’s Beach offers something completely different and stand-out.
Roo – “We believe our brand mix is unique. Customers are making a special journey to come and find us and once they have, they are loyal and invested, being able to continue their journey through our online store and social media channels”.
Having opened in 2013, Roo’s Beach continues to gather fans from far and wide who want to immerse themselves with this multi-generational, coastal, fresh fashion vibe with 2020 bringing an exciting array of new plans. As well as the range of womenswear, Roo’s Beach’s menswear edit continues to grow year on year. Adding to the ethos of denim, knitwear, print and colour, Roo has curated a small and easily accessible menswear capsule collection featuring relaxed staples from brands such as Portuguese Flannel, Albam, Levi’s and Rhythm.
NEW BRANDS FOR 2020
L.F.Markey, Swildens, IVY Copenhagen, Stripe & Stare, Indie & Cold and Nümph.
These will join the current roster which includes American Vintage, Wildfox, Free People, Bellerose, Veja, Levi Strauss, Mads Nørgaard, Saucony, Leon & Harper, Ottod’Ame and Hartford amongst many others.
The Roo’s Beach Coffee Shop is an integral part of the shopping experience, helping to make the store a destination for visitors. Customers can park easily right in front of the shop, sit and enjoy Origin coffee, homemade cakes and fresh juices on the sunny decking overlooking the beach and sea.
Also on offer is the plant shed, full of green grasses, succulents and cacti with an array of ceramic pots and vases to suit. The in-store ‘Hydration Station’ is open for people to refill their water bottles, helping to reduce single use plastic and encourage people to recycle, re-use and hydrate!
