Autumn'22 Trends

This season is all about colour, with a palette that reflects our new way of living - “colours for Autumn/Winter 2022/2023 contrast our competing desires for calm and comfort with energy boosting vitality through a range of restful and restorative colours, in tandem with exuberant tones,” according to Pantone.

Wear The Rainbow

Always our go-to for colour, American Vintage has nailed this season’s key shades, splashing them across their usual knitwear, tanks and tees, and even some trousers too. For some slightly more earthy shades, see colour block pieces from YMC

Think Pink

Pink is back in a big way. Millenial Pink has been overtaken by ‘Barbiecore’ as the hot new pink we’re seeing everywhere. However, it looks like baby pink is here to stay, also making the cut as one of the seasons top colours. So the main takeaway, it’s all about PINK. Every shade goes.
American Vintage got the memo early, bringing us a bright pink edit of their best styles. Bellerose was also thinking pink, with a slightly different shade in mind, but one we love just as much.

Smarter Styles

Classics like white shirts and floor length trousers are still on trend for the minimalists, while others took their smarter styles down the preppy and traditional route with knits and tweed.

Shaped by a love of craftsmanship and vintage influences, Bellerose is the brand to head to for timeless pieces like blouses and knitwear. While innovative brand Ganni puts their own new spin on these classic looks.

Otherwhere

Meanwhile, some brands took inspiration from themes of folklore and freedom. Parting from the bold colours to channel the seasons restful and restorative themes in other ways. All about mixing patterns and textures, this one is an easy way to mix new pieces in with your old ones. We’re thinking the 60’s and 70’s inspired patchwork florals form YMC, layered with some knitwear, or even some Ganni leopard.
