Pilgrim Surf Supply A/W24 Feature
We’re 3 seasons deep into stocking Pilgrim Surf supply and it’s quickly become part of the furniture in Menswear. A brand that’s loved by the fashion heads, the core surfers and the unsuspecting common wanderer we have entering through the shop doors.
With the brands roots sprouting from surfing style and heritage, partnered with contemporary vision of the BEAMS group behind production, it makes perfect sense that the brands collections are constantly push boundaries with fabric, fit and nod’s to classic Menswear.
Always a highlight of our seasonal Paris trip is is visiting their showroom. Not only is Chris (founder) and the American team behind Pilgrim possibly the nicest group of people in the world, with a shared loved of the beach and surfing as us - the knowledge and passion from the Japanese contingent, Taka and Togowa is incredibly inspirational. The way they talk about sourcing fabrics from far flung places in Japan is like nothing we’ve ever come across (one piece of the AW24 collection had the fibre from a Nettle found in the foothills of a specific Japanese mountain range, I mean come on)
AW24 does not disappoint. From shaggy wool cardigans such as the Gradation cardigan to classic workwear pieces like the Leon Coaches jacket which isa particular favourite (it features these super smart reinforced and articulated elbow patches, genius). The trousers are always a highlight for staff and customers alike - classic such as the Salathe pant are joined by new comers, the Robson 5 pocket which is made of a cotton, wool and silk blend of fabric, giving it a textured feel that’s light and warm.
Wool fleece also features for AW with their newest interpretation of the Antonio fleece, constructed from a lightweight wool pile and finished in this incredible orange colour way. As always it’s a case of us wanting one of everything.
